Lindsay Shahim

I am a Registered Nurse with local and international experience, spending a few years in the United States and United Kingdom. On returning to South Africa in 1994, I started my career in the medical sales industry. In 1999, I started Nu Angle Medical and continued to represent the brand of Porges Urology and Surgery, now owned by Coloplast, in South Africa.

When Mentor asked us to launch breast implants into the South African market, Nu Angle Medical Aesthetics was born. The evolution of the Aesthetics business to include a world leading topical anti-aging treatment was the next step in service delivery to the market. NuAngle Medical Aesthetics became synonymous with high quality skin care products and dedicated sales support. We are very excited to work with ZO® Skin Health by Dr Zein Obagi, as it is the most exciting and powerful topical anti-aging brand that we have ever encountered.

My role covers all the aspects of the different businesses, divisions and countries in the Nu Angle Group. I love my role, I deal with fascinating people and products and am always challenged and learning something new. In one day I can be taking my children to school, spending time in the operating room, in a product development meeting, IT and digital strategy and next discussing ISO and CE mark protocols. I am exceptionally blessed to be working with a dedicated and driven team.

Jackie Stopford

Jackie Stopford the National Sales Manager for NuAngle Medical, I began my professional career qualifying as a Aesthetician with Catherine Lewis Evans at the East rand Beauty Therapy College. Early on in my studies, I realised my passion for Skin and Active Skin care ingredients, as well as the need for advanced training programmes for qualified Aestheticians.

Through the years I worked for and with a variety of skin care brands, constantly searching for more. I realised that I was only going to get the answers,training and access to advanced products and ingredients I needed by working with Medical Skin Care brands.

In 2009 I was given the opportunity to work as a Medical Representative for NuAnlge Medical Aesthetics. The product line SkinMedica was far more advanced then any range I had worked with previously, and the challenge was on to learn and understand how the right Ingredients as well as the right % could actually effect change on the skin. It became clear that it was not enough to just claim you have an ingredient,but that if that ingredient was not in a high enough % to effect change on the skin it was of no use. This revelation shocked me and it became a priority to ensure that my industry colleagues were aware of this.

By Challenging myself to know more, I realised the Doctors and Aestheticians in the Medical Aesthetics industry were as hungry for Knowledge and Active Products as I was. The SkinMedica training was intense, I challenged everything they knew about products and ingredients, but those Doctors and Aestheticians that attended my trainings, are some of the most knowledgeable Aesthetic specialists today. We challenged Ingredients,%, and the over used caption of “Clinically Proven”, and drilled down into what we expected and how to get it.

Within my first year I grew the SkinMedica product line by 756%, We employed more team members and the range kept growing. Due to my success and detailed understanding of the industry I was promoted to National Sales Manager and assumed responsibility of the NuAngle Medical Aesthetics Product Portfolio.

As we move into a new Era of products with the Zo Skin Health range by Dr Zein Obagi, We will be taking our hunger for knowledge and results even further. Questioning how to turn back the clock once and for all? Why it is so important to prepare for cosmetic procedures and how to get the best results.

My focus for 2016 is to bring advanced products to the Aesthetic market and to work closely with industry professionals to improve the training and knowledge of the Aesthetic Professional.

Lize Van Zyl

Lize Van Zyl is a CIDESCO qualified therapist with over 10 years experience working in various different environments. She started her career as a senior therapist at a well known Health Hydro, and subsequently worked in various different areas of the hospitality industry. She also spent a few years as a coastal trainer for international brands such as Clarins, Theirry Mugler, Swarovski and Azzaro fragrances, and also has experience working in the health and wellness sector.

Liezel du Bruyn

Liezel du Bruyn has been growing her passion for the skin health industry for 11 years starting out at 5 star, internationally acclaimed hotel spas and later on entering the Aesthetic industry. Her focus has always been on creating a partnership with customers and ensuring the best possible service and outcomes are achieved for customers through educating them and in turn installing an excitement for healthy skin and starting the steps to reaching that goal.

Nadia Burger

Nadia is a qualified ITEC, City and Guilds, SAAHSP and CIDESCO practical therapist. She started her career as a therapist at Spas of Distinctions and worked herself up to senior therapist. From there Nadia was given an opportunity in the distributor market with the brands MamaMIO and Juliette Armandt where her career as a sales representative started. The main focus of this position was to build client relations, source new business and train therapist with her current clients. Her aim was to enter the Medical market and she then joined Bmed, a company that distributes medical devices. She was eager to join a larger medical group and was given a great opportunity at NuAngle as the area manager for Pretoria and Johannesburg. She is looking forward to building long-term relationships within the Nuangle network.
